Electrical and Mechanical Workshops - Register NOW

Posted on 6 November 2018

Are you a mine supervisor or specialist COC-holder?

MinEx is running two courses over two consecutive days in Christchurch later this month that you'll want to know about.

20/21 November, 8am - 4pm
Russley Golf Club, Christchurch

These workshops are not just for mechanical and electrical superintendents - they are packed with useful sessions for anyone from supervisors up - and they will earn you 6 hours formal CPD.

Two days - two fabulous opportunities to get together and learn from (and with) some great people in our mining industry.

Tuesday 20 November - Electrical Workshop
Hosted by Lionel Smith, Regional Inspector of Mines (Metalliferous) with Queensland’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines - and Chairman of the Mine Electrical Safety Association in Australia. Lionel will cover a
systematic approach to Electrical Control Plans and Electrical Safety Regulations.

Wednesday 21 November - Mechanical Workshop
With a great line up of presenters from around New Zealand, this workshop covers practical application of Control Plans, technology improvements, recent safety incidents and managing contractors. View the mechanical agenda here.

Networking function
At the end of the electrical workshop, attendees of both days are invited to attend a free networking function - to chew the fat with your peers from around New Zealand.

Cost

Each workshop is just $100 + GST to attend. You are awarded 6 hours formal CPD awarded for each day you attend. And attendance at the networking function is included even if you only register for one day.

Remember - it's not just for electrical and mechanical superintendents.
